Lufkin, Texas 18-Wheeler Accident Leaves 1 Dead

Being involved in an accident that involves an 18 wheeler can leave some individuals feeling lucky to be alive, and it can sometimes leave others in mourning. When that 18 wheeler accident involves not only one but two trucks, it often cannot be considered anything less than a major accident. The circumstances of what took place may be unclear at first, but as more details emerge, a driver is typically deemed at fault, and those individuals who were injured or lost a love one may be able to form a better grasp on their situation.

A major accident in Texas took place that involved two tractor trailers and a school bus. Exact details on what may have caused the accident were not given at the time of the report. The school bus was reportedly carrying three students as well as the bus driver, and one of the trucks involved spilled a chemical that was described as hazardous.

The bus driver and students were all transported to an area hospital with what were considered minor injuries. It was reported that at least one of the truck drivers involved suffered fatal injuries. At this time, the conditions of the occupants of the bus and the second truck driver are unknown.

They may also wish to explore their legal options that they may be able to take against the party or parties deemed responsible for the accident. As funeral costs and other arrangements can prove costly, learning more information about wrongful death claims in Texas could help them determine whether they could be entitled to monetary reparations for their loss and other permissible damages.
