3 Hurt when Austin, TX Bus Hits Guardrail

Because there are typically more passengers on a bus than in other types of vehicles, there could potentially be a higher risk for more injuries in the event of an accident. A bus accident could lead to injuries of other drivers if more vehicles are involved, or occupants of the bus may be the only ones at risk if it is a single-vehicle accident. In either case, injured parties may have cause to file a personal injury claim in order to seek monetary reparations.

A single-vehicle bus accident recently took place in Texas and could potentially lead to civil claims. It was reported that the accident took place in the early morning when the bus struck a guard rail. At this time, it is unclear what may have caused the accident to occur.

Three occupants on the bus were transported from the scene to be treated for injuries. It was noted that the injuries were not believed to put the lives of the parties at risk. It was not known whether the driver of the bus was one of the individuals who was injured. There is currently an ongoing investigation into the incident.

A Bus and Commercial Vehicle Attorney can Help Win Financial Compensation

Because the bus accident resulted in individuals being transported from the scene, parties who suffered serious injuries may have reason to consider legal action. Hospital bills can become a financial burden for individuals, and those negatively affected may want to determine whether filing a personal injury claim could be right for their situation. Such a claim could potentially lead to their pursuit of compensation against the party or parties considered responsible for the Texas accident.
