Parents of Teen Die in Truck Crash
A tragedy recently occurred in Texas that left a young man orphaned. The truck accident resulted in criminal charges being filed against one of the motorists. The married couple traveling together on the motorcycle did not survive the crash. The driver of the pickup was charged and now faces two counts of manslaughter.

The high school senior, obviously grief-stricken, told the officer that he was days away from celebrating his graduation. It was reported that the police officer reached out to the teen by attending his graduation ceremony, where the two were seen sharing a tearful embrace.
Texas Semi-Truck Crash Attorneys can Help Victims get Financial Compensation
When a son or daughter suffers the untimely loss of both parents in a Texas truck accident, he or she is protected by law with the right to file a wrongful death claim in a civil court when the suggests that the crash was caused due to the fault of another party. Obviously, no amount of court-awarded compensation could alleviate the tremendous grief of losing one’s parents; however, a compensatory award could be used to help remove some of the debt often incurred in the aftermath of a motor vehicle accident. Additionally, a son or daughter who lived as a dependent of his or her parents, could also include a projected loss of financial support among the damages listed in a claim.

18-Wheeler Cattle Truck Takes Life in Fort Worth
A portion of Texas Interstate 37 became the scene of a recent tragedy. Three vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident. The truck collision unfortunately resulted in the loss of one life.
According to troopers who responded to the tragic crash, a driver behind the wheel of a cattle truck was traveling north at excessive speeds. Reports indicate that the truck struck a big rig, which then lost control and slammed into an RV. The impact apparently sent the RV reeling off the highway, causing it to flip over. The cattle truck was also said to have turned over with some of its cargo spilling onto the road.
Sadly, a 50-year-old woman from Fort Worth, who was traveling in the RV, died in the crash. Two others were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment of minor injuries. It has been reported that the cattle truck driver will be issued a citation for failing to maintain proper speed. Unfortunately, not all of the cattle survived the incident.

Loss of future financial support, as well as emotional pain and suffering are among the damages that might typically be listed in the legal claim. Negligent Drivers can be Brought to Justice
Most people understand that there is a certain amount of risk involved when navigating community roads as a pedestrian. Still, it is not typically expected that one will be involved in a pedestrian accident in the normal course of travel. Unfortunately, negligent or reckless drivers in Texas can cause physical injury, or worse, the death of an innocent victim. From those taking an evening stroll, to children playing on the sidewalk, or walking to and from school, the peaceful sights in a community can become sudden scenes of tragedy. It is helpful to know that those who are injured have recourse in the legal system by filing a personal injury claim in court.
If a pedestrian survives being struck by a moving vehicle, he or she often faces a long road to recovery. Internal organ damage, brain and spinal cord trauma and broken bones are among the injuries often suffered in a hit and run accident. Victims may spend long periods of time in a hospital undergoing treatments and surgeries. Once released from hospital care, surviving victims often endure extended periods of time in physical therapy as they continue to recover from their injuries.
Pedestrians can Seek Financial Claims through a Car Accident Attorney
Damages suffered by those who are injured by a negligent driver vary from lost income to emotional pain and suffering, and future care costs. In addition to rightfully seeking compensation for damages, surviving victims or those who survive the untimely death of a loved one often express a need for closure by bringing the driver believed to have been at fault to justice and pursuing financial relief for losses associated with the accident. This is understandable since hit and run collisions often cause sudden and unexpected life changes, sometimes preventing those who are injured from continuing on their previously traveled path toward their dreams and goals.
A Texas resident injured in a pedestrian accident has the right to consult with an attorney for the purpose of filing a lawsuit. Certainly, a legal claim can never bring about physical healing, nor can it relieve a family’s grief. However, it might be comforting to know that justice can prevail by allowing innocent victims to seek compensation for damages they have suffered. Motorists are obligated to proceed with caution when traveling on a highway or through community areas, and an experienced personal injury attorney will be committed to asking a court to hold reckless drivers accountable for their actions.

The impact of the collision caused the tank of the huge truck to puncture, spilling diesel fuel all over the road. A hazardous materials crew was called to the scene when both vehicles erupted in flames.
Sadly, the driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the site of the collision. A 45-year-old male who was driving the tractor trailer was injured in the crash. It was reported that he was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for his injuries and was later released.
Victims in Commercial Semi-Truck Accidents can Seek Financial Compensation through the Law
Police have stated that the recent accident remains under investigation. It is not yet known whether results of that investigation will lead to charges being filed in the incident. In Texas, when immediate family members suffer the untimely loss of a loved one in a fatal truck accident that was caused by the fault of another driver, they are entitled to seek compensation for damages on behalf of the decedent. The compensation awarded in a successfully litigated case can sometimes help alleviate financial costs the surviving family members might incur in the aftermath of an accident.

Salado Family Files Wrongful Death Suit in Car Accident
When immediate family members suffer the untimely loss of a loved one in a Texas fatal accident, they are eligible to seek financial redress for their losses. They may file a wrongful death claim in a civil court if the accident is believed to have been caused by the negligence or wrongful actions of another driver. A similar lawsuit was filed recently in relation to a bridge collapse that occurred in late March after a commercial vehicle accident. The tragedy occurred after a tractor trailer reportedly hit a support beam on a bridge.
A 32-year-old man was behind the wheel of a pickup at the time. He was driving underneath the bridge when the beam collapsed in the moments after the collision. According to reports, the man’s pickup was crushed underneath the falling debris. A group of attorneys has recently filed a wrongful death suit on behalf of the decedent’s mother and his five children.
The lawsuit names the trucking company and the driver of the tractor trailer as defendants whose negligence, they claim, is responsible for the man’s death. The claim further asserts that it was the responsibility of the defendants to provide traffic warning devices, safe traffic control plans and safe roadway routes when transporting cargo and operating commercial motor vehicles. Two other companies associated with a construction project the bridge was undergoing at the time have also been named in the wrongful death claim.
A Car Accident Lawyer Can Help Bring Justice in a Commercial Semi-Truck Accident
It was reported that the family filing the wrongful death suit has demanded a jury trial in the aftermath of the commercial vehicle accident. Texas residents who wish to learn more about the process of filing a wrongful death suit may want to contact a legal professional who has experience in representing plaintiffs in motor vehicle accident cases. Though any redress a court might award does not alleviate the pain and suffering involved in losing a loved one, it might comfort family members to know that some of the financial costs related to a fatal accident could be taken care of through compensation awarded in a successfully litigated case.

Police Still Looking for Driver of Hit and Run Victim
In Texas, the operator of a vehicle that is involved in an accident that results in damage to another driver’s vehicle, injury to a person or death is obligated to stop and remain at the scene of the incident. The operator of an involved vehicle is responsible for providing personal contact and insurance information, as well as rendering aid to any injured party insofar as is possible at the time. It is against state law to drive away from the scene and doing so constitutes a hit and run accident.
On a recent Sunday night, a 23-year-old woman was walking along Texas Boulevard in Weslaco. She was reportedly struck by a vehicle and was killed. Information provided listed the young woman as a national from Mexico who was staying with a family in the area.
According to reports, police were able to contact the young woman’s mother, who then identified the body of the deceased. The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian was said to have fled the scene. The search for that person remains ongoing. Police have published a telephone number for citizens to use if they have any pertinent information to offer in the case.
Hit and Run Victims can File for Legal Claims through a Car Accident Lawyer
When police locate a driver who has fled the scene after being involved in a hit and run accident that has resulted in death, the immediate family members of the deceased victim may be able to file a wrongful death claim in a civil court. Legal professionals with experience in Texas motor vehicle accidents would be able to advise those considering filing a claim with regard to what to expect throughout court proceedings. Those taking legal action would also be able to request information regarding what types of damages are able to be included in a lawsuit in order to seek compensation for the losses suffered in the untimely death of a loved one.
