Austin Woman Killed in South Texas Car Crash

Texas Woman is Hit-and-Run Suspect
Parents often want to protect their children from harm no matter what the cost. A Texas father was walking across a street with his young daughter when he noticed a speeding car heading in their direction. Presumably wanting to protect his daughter, the father moved in front of her just before the car collided with them. The collision caused the father to be knocked into the young girl, and she suffered a broken leg. The driver of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene. It was not reported what, if any, injuries the father sustained as a result of the hit-and-run.
Police are continuing to investigate and have a suspect for whom they are on the lookout. The suspect is a 23-year-old woman driving a gray colored vehicle. Authorities are encouraging anyone who may have information on the suspect to call and report their information.
